Siding BusinessOne-man vinyl siding repair

About

The narrowing path

GC. Then handyman. Then only siding repair.

Siding Business is Jack Kent teaching the one-man vinyl repair model he actually lived — not a theory stacked on other people’s YouTube.

I tried the other versions of this life first.

General contracting meant every trade, a big crew, and chaos. People assume that’s where the money is. It wasn’t, not the way I ran it, and it owned the calendar.

Handyman work with one apprentice was cleaner. Still scatter. Then I cut it down to vinyl siding repair — mostly 1–3 hour outside jobs, few tools, optional one helper. That’s the specialty I’d pick again.

Public lessons live here and on YouTube. Deeper systems, pricing, and shop talk live in Siding Pro Academy on Skool for $97/month.

Outside only

Stay off the carpet. No unlock waits. Damage you can see from the driveway.

One truck

No crew circus. If a helper no-shows, the day still pays.

Chill, not soft

Hustle is required. Burnout theater isn’t. Weeks off are possible if you run it like a business.

Earnings vary. Licensing and insurance depend on where you live. No income is guaranteed.
